My son in law even aged in his 60’s chooses to be in charge of a boat to support so many different exercises off the coast of Australia. Oil seems to have endless support vehicles and costs. He is on for 4 weeks and perhaps off for 3 weeks or maybe only 3 days! Its hard on our daughter who has to handle a large property but manages it at the moment with ‘woofers”.
This photo taken from a public Quarry Garden here. Ranunculus I believe?
Three good things:
1. Her large garden is in the competition for new owners and is judged on November 3. Lots of lovely little hedges, raised plots, outside barbecue oven and wisteria all over the place!
2. Visiting family in all sorts of economic situations - a challenge as to what to say and what not to say.
3. Wine, quarg and good salad..Nicoise! the best!
These blooms are beautiful, you have captured that feel of layer after layer you can get lost in. Sorry to hear that your kids can keep worrying you even into their sixties. No end in sight!
@pandorasecho John has 21 grandchildren and even more great grandchildren so we can't worry over any particular one, Dixie! They have their own lives but sometimes never climb out of a rut!
@happypat A woofer is a foreign person or persons who come and work on farms or large properties for board, food and lodging. They work for 5 hours a day only. Some of them have never handled a spade though!
Gorgeous flowers - love the low pov!! Fav! I agree about families who are all in different circumstances - you do have to be careful what you say and also what you tell the next member of the family you meet!! Treading on eggshells with some members of my family!!
Yes, most definitely ranunculus....recognized them the minute I saw the photo....such beautiful colors, and the petals are so delicate and lovely! FAVulous capture!
