Beach Races must be the best - sand flying from behind the spinning wheels and the roar of 15 motorbikes at the starting point! Here they are lining up for the race but the start is not just yet. Tide was going out and the wind was whistling in but nowhere near the strength as it had been. Plenty of P.O’s and I’m learning how.
Three good things;
1. John handled 4 TV interviews with aplomb! Good thing they didn’t ask me - I’m not an ‘aplomb’ sort of person!
2. Learning about so many others’ experiences - life or related motorbikes.
3. I just about got pneumonia out there on the cold windy beach with my lung problems but it was definitely worth it!
What a tremendous shot - you really are right in with them, It must have been so exciting. I really like the editing and you have certainly captured the atmosphere.
Great shot. I like the hint of camera lens and what looks like a microphone in the bottom left foreground. Sounds like you had a wonderful time in amongst all the bikes.
Take care of yourself so you don't get sick! This is an excellent image with those motorbikes all lined up so well! It must've been amazing to see them all starting at the same time!
Great POV. I saw John's brief comment on the news just now. What an exciting event that is and everyone was so enthusiastic to be part of it. Great photo opportunity well taken
I can feel the anticipation. a wonderful picture of the line up. I added my fav. congrats for being on TP and PP.
thank you for your comment on my picture of the hospital. it's situated in the middle of a very busy section of town. there is a long curved driveway leading to the house. a little further out of sight is huge parking space, beautiful grounds under tall trees. I saw it in the summertime when patients were strolling outside. my son was there years ago and I remember visiting him. you don't see the house from the busy roads.
