I don’t think its all about PP’s and TTs etc. Creative work with photography to show something worth while. Like this one - a composite work but I like the thought that goes with it!
Three good things:
1.Plumbers who go on holiday for 16 days are as bad as lawyers! Managed to find a washer at Placemakers though - maybe stop the flooding in the toilet - which of course is not as bad as flooding in cities and towns around the world!
2. John cut the rhubarb again but I’ve yet to find the recipe that doesn’t use sugar!
3. Looking forward to the last photos of 2015 from everybody! Including me who has absolutely no idea what to do!
@salza mmm- one I found just had an apple and a cinnamon stick added! Still be frightfully tart, I think! I just want stewed rhubarb not a pudding also.
I love this creative composition Maggiemae - so arty !! As for rhubarb -I always add orange rind and juice to the rhubarb and sweeten them with artificial sweeteners (as I am diabetic )
@bobfoto Jason! How nice to hear from you!! You are still there hiding in some place around the world! I think I agree with you - i'm not going to avoid sugar!
@maggiemae - back in Australia now. Just thought I'd go for a little wander around the 365... 'tis a pretty place what with its pictures of flowers and pretty things.
Very colourful and, it might be my glasses, but it looks 3D to me. My final picture for this year didn't go according to plan but well, have to go with the flow sometimes. Have you thought of using the rhubarb as a vegetable?
haha, what's wrong with rhubarb and sugar? :) i'm a rhubarb lover, always have some in the freezer, if not in season. Rhubarb-b-q sauce marinated chicken leg quarters?
For someone with " no idea what to do" you have come up with a very creative offering!
I searched the web for recipes for rhubarb using no sugar but wasn't sure why you wanted themso I have no idea if the ones that say use honey would work or if you could use another fruit for a sweetner. I amcertain you could find whatever you need on the WWW though!
@grammyn There are lots of recipes for rhubarb crisp, cake, chutney, jam etc but very little for stewed rhubarb, Katy. Honey is an alternative but still has the same calorific value as sugar!
I love your creation. it's beautiful, fav.
Have you heard of Stevia - a sugar substitute? here is a link from Wikipedia. I use for my tea and for baking. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stevia
@seattlite Well done you, Gloria - having to crouch down in a limited space with your head screwed round and very little light - thats a huge achievement!
Very creative. Completely agree about TP and PP. it's about our creativity and the relathionships we build. So fun to learn from others all over the world.
A delightful composite, with a wonderful message. I agree on the PP/TT thing... it's just our day's creative journeys, as we find them, with our friends. I hope you solve the no-suger rhubarb dilemma, too. Good luck!
@rosiekerr Thank you Rosie for your agreement about journeys into the unknown - as it often is! No result with rhubarb - I guess it will be sugared and we will dance around the pot while it cooks!
Composite work is a dominant feature of you image portfolio, which is not, in the opinion of the purist photographer, a photograph. The image you post here tell me you are a creative person, an artist in your own right, although i do raise an eyebrow now and then. Good work
@gamelee (Composite Photography) "a photograph formed by superimposing two or more separate photographs".. wikipedia. What I know as 'layering'. In this case Lee, there was only one photograph which an app turned into a tree and I added letters. I like the thought of your raised eyebrow, though!
