Other great photographers on this site are showing their skills and some I can try to do and others I can’t with my limited bridge camera! However this is my challenge.
This was the bokeh look. ...and it looks super on the black too!
Three good things:
1. My dreams are so incredible, I can’t even describe them for fear of embarrassment! Good thing I forget them!
2. A cherry pie is on my list for tomorrow. Got all the ingredients!
3. The cat gets all her own way on John’s lap!
@graemestevens Getting my camera to focus on this tiny wee sprig was not easy Graeme- I had to focus on something near the same distance away then swing round and just blindly shoot!
@maggiemae We always ate the cherries before they could climb into a pie, Katy! This time we bought heaps and I had to freeze them before they went bad! Lets hope I don't have a bad cherry pie - its in the oven now!
@maggiemae LOL! Love it! In the US there are sour or tart cherries and they are called pie cherries. They make the most delicious pie but take sugar in the recipe for the sweetness. No lemon juice required!
@maggiemae Hi Maggie!!!! I got a new notification that you were following me (even though I've been out-of-pocket and it was so great to see your name!) I'm alive, doing well, I just quit my job (taking a break) so I hope to pick up my camera again. Been missing you and my other 365-ers! Love 365 Family and will have the time to check out what you guys have been doing all of this time! Big Hug Big Love from Lafayette, LA, my loyal friend!!! :-)
@thendrix58 what I did, Terry was 'unfollow' you then 'follow' you straight away. When you do this, that person goes to the top of the list. You obviously get notified too! Good! 365 is LOTS of fun - some people are so humorous, some so friendly and some so staid. I have fun with my input being quite silly at times! Big hugs back!
@maggiemae I've been missing y'all and our entire 365 community, that's for sure! I can't wait to scope out the "newcomers", too! Hearing from you makes me feel like I'm hearing from a beloved family member. You have provided that spark for me to enter our 365 family again! And that's what I will always believe and explain to people when I talk about 365. LOVE that we are a close worldwide community. That's so Fantastic! I'm drinking wine right now so CHEERS!!!
@maggiemae I didn't know that Skaal meant so I googled it! This is what it said -- "We clinked bottles and I said "skaal," and I told her about Denmark, where I'd just been, where clinking glasses and saying "skaal" means you're allowed to switch from using the formal form of you over to the casual form." Is that accurate? I"m so curious and love learning new things.
Save me a piece of that pie!
