On the road to recovery….. this is what I fancied for my one meal of the day! Always a favourite.
Three good things:
1. Got some time out in the sun again - gotta be good for you
2. When the sun comes round and shines on certain windows - they are so filthy! The good thing is we can ring up and get someone up to clean them - book ahead.
3. John’s going to get a good dinner tonight - at the Lion’s monthly evening.
Nothing like a nice brown chuckie egg , with a rich coloured yolk , served with hot buttered toast ; glad you are on the mend !and enjoying a little sunshine !
As my stomach growls with hunger but it's really too late in the evening to create a meal, I am wishing I were sitting at a table with this in front of me!
Wonderful Still Life photo, nice POV and sadly I can't eat an egg like that. I can eat a fried egg if it's cooked nearly all the way through, but the yoke has to be well done for me. My grandfather ate an egg like this, every morning, in an egg holder and I would have to leave the table when he ate it!! LOL If my husband eats fried eggs he barely waves the heat over it and I leave the table!! LOL I truly can't even look at them if they aren't cooked almost all the way!! Soooooooo, your photo is excellent and I will gladly give you a FAV for the still life, but now I have to leave the computer!! ROFL!!
@cashew I would think Kathy you have a fat intolerance in some way! Its a shame because an egg is a 'whole' food. Has lots of essential nutrients that react with each other to be absorbed well into the body! At the moment its all I can do to look at this photo! Still not well! But will get better.
Glad to hear you are on the mend Maggie :)
Old joke........
Q. What's the difference between a soldier and a fireman?
A. You can't dip a fireman in your boiled egg!
