Overnight there was some snow in high places so I walked up the road about 4 minutes away and took these distant photos! I have found that locking the camera on to a pole or similar helps with clarity on distant focus. I don’t walk with a tripod and in any case, this is much better.
These are the Kakanui Mountains to the west of Oamaru about 47 km away from Oamaru where I am. About 1643m (5400 feet) high.
Three good things;
1. Today I actually had to think what I could do next! Time waits for this woman!
2. My fridge door beeps when I leave it just a fraction open - drives me berkers!
3. Sun all day - no heating needed in the house till sunset!
My fridge door squeaks when I open it & it's driving me mad! I oiled it the other day but it's still doing it! Stunning snow capped mountains, such a fantastic view! Fave again!
I like your 3 good things ...Our fridge door also has a setting to beep if we leave it open, but we leave that feature turned off!
