History

One never knows what happens day to day. Here I was at the North End of Oamaru when J was having an eye check-up. This house was opposite and has always taken my eye. It is now a backpackers but I don’t know the previous history . I like the vignette that I put on as it hid the parked car on the left.

Three good things:
1. Got my tooth repaired again - good skilled dentist this time!
2. Music makes my world go round
3. Getting warmer but Wednesday may be a shock!
Lovely effect and story to go with it. Fav

This effect so suits this beautiful house. The textures & colours are just perfect, makes it look like it probably used to look years ago, a gracious house with a very proper family living there, not backpackers! I expect those old walls like the fun. Glad about your tooth!

@grammyn @maggiemae - and where might i find this antique plate thingie? i have a shot of a beautiful victorian house (now a restaurant) which i don't know how to process to give it justice. this kind of processing just might do it. i really like what you've done here, maggiemae. i thought you had drawn this yourself and i was quite impressed!
