A spider in my sights by maggiemae

A spider in my sights

This was an exercise to use a white box and experiment with white balance! It was almost straight forward but I really don’t know where to use all of the options in WB!
This is my favourite little jewelled spider in the white box and I did “add” bokeh! One day I’ll get it right and it will be natural!

Three good things;
1. Gave up with the cystitis after an overnight pain-filled experience and went to the doctor . Think it is the best!
2. Our little town is making world wide waves.
3. My recent video of the Fiordland trip literally tripped up and the music was deemed copyright abuse and forbidden in the USA and maybe the whole thing is going to be muted! The good thing is that I am determined!
Looks great! I like your processing.

good focus; when I put music to an Ireland trip I took, I searched for royalty free Irish tunes and used from there so I had no problem with copyrights

Bokehlicsiousness.

@hjbenson I'll have to do that too, Harry - where did you find some?
September 14th, 2016
Haha, I thought this was a really interestingly coloured spider, brighter than any of ours, then read it was a piece of jewellery. Still a very nice image.

@maggiemae That just goes to show equipment doesn't need to be expensive for good results!

Well done :)...#1...I'm glad you got that taken care of...anything with the suffix "itis" needs to be looked at by a dr.

@seattlite You are right but I hate taking the antibiotics so I give everything a chance to get better by itself!

Good job on this one Maggie- looks great! A golden spider- that sounds like something you'd find in a fairy tale.

Yes, Mr. Chips, although quite cute does nibble off the flower heads and then he digs up the roots in the pot. Until that nasty lady with the camera steps out on to the deck and then he's off in a flash.
