The end of this adventure proved a worry for one but with a future for our little Russian Matryoshka doll.
This historic bridge where once a team of horses and carriage passed over on the way to the goldfields of Central Otago, NZ, now held Ekaterina who had actually had enough from Georgy! She tossed him over over the side and he floated downwards for miles, still singing Russian songs, waving his arms and hoping his friends would come to his aid!
Three good things:
1. In an effort to keep our computers and iPhones recharged in place where there was no electricity we were able to use the special adaptor in the car.
2. This ended up by a facility in the car going on for a night and running the battery completely flat! The AA saved us even at our remote location.
3. Our little kitten actually came inside the caravan but fled if we put a hand out! I think we will have to wave goodbye soon as we do with Ekaterina!
A nice ending to the story and a wonderful depiction of it. Georgy seems noe the worse for the toss either! A beautiful shot enhanced by your chartacters
Oh dear too much use of 365 & Internet, hoorah for the AA!
Good for Ekaterina she's had enough of that drunken Russian, good riddance! Perhaps she will hitch a lift with a gold digger & live a life of luxury with jewels & furs!
Your processing beautifully portrays the sense of story ending, and I feel I've missed out on the Matryoshka story so I'll be looking backwards through your album!
Hooray for Ekaterina!! I hear she may have signed a book deal with Maggiemae Publishing and will tell her tale of self-discovery in it. I know it will inspire many a young woman who has fallen for the wrong man!
Photo plus a story, I think you've gone above and beyond your duties to the 365 project, but SO enjoyable. Fav for the original image, a beautiful scene.
A beautiful scene and a place to be , but perhaps not so for poor foolish Georgy I hope Eka will grow up a little and become wiser as she experiences life !!
Eka was too good for Georgy, I am pleased she saw that, but, hope Georgy's friends rescued him & he has learned a lesson. You are such a good story teller & your photos are brilliant...
@kwiksilver Good thing she took those weight lifting lessons, Gillian - she would never have been able to heave a singing and arm- waving Georgy over the side of the bridge!
Oh I see there's one more story to tell.looks like Eka finally smartend up and send him on his way so to speak. maybe in the near future we'll find out how Eka is coming along and with a bit more education in men as you say, she''ll find her prince sharming.
@kiwichick I'd have to agree with this, Lesley. The guy who came out to heart start our poor old Sadie remembered John from about 15 years ago when the wheel of our 4X4 fell off, rolled away into a nearby field! That's another story!
ahh, good for eka. men who are just good for good time should be tossed on the river. good riddance, georgy! and to eka, till we meet again! loved the series, maggiemae. and hope your battery never goes flat again. :-)
Good for Ekaterina she's had enough of that drunken Russian, good riddance! Perhaps she will hitch a lift with a gold digger & live a life of luxury with jewels & furs!
Farewell Ekaterina and Georgy.
Well done Ekaterina ! Good bye Georgy.
wonderful that the AA rescued you
