Resorting to flower photos but the garden is looking lovely with all the roses. This is the rose that my photo won an award in the local provincial paper and I received the much awaited chocolate prize today..... 3 tiny chocolate bars, the sort you find in a Christmas cracker!
Three good things:
1. Ham for dinner - for the fourth time!
2. Getting used to a nap after lunch - am I old or something?
3. A visit from one side of a couple that split up some years ago.
These roses are so beautiful, color & frilled edges well worth 1st prize....Deserve the best chocolates....know what you mean, lots of ham & a nap is good too.....FAV..
Beautiful flowers and lovely shot of them...I like the visual triangle the flowers make....keeps my eye going from one lovely bloom to another. Enjoy the chocolate!
I feel like that when I take a flower photo but this one is a beauty & you capture flowers so well anyway! Three measly choc bars, your photo deserved a meal out at the very least! Awkward sometimes when couples split up, best to keep friends with both & no slagging off!
the colours are very pretty and they look so 3D-ish from my monitor, i could almost pluck them if i wanted to. very lovely flowers, maggiemae. aces! but i hope they gave you godiva chocolates to make it really worthwhile!
@summerfield The chocolates looked very cheap but when opening them and tasting, they had beautiful creamy chocolate on. Gave the peppermint one to Mr Cool! Appropriate?
