My sister-in-law, John's sister, turned 90 and a party was held. This was the second cake to be presented. Margaret is Burt Munro's daughter of course and that is the racing Indian bike there ( not actuality of course). She plays mahjon and golf croquet.
Three Good Things:
1. Relaxed trip from our overnight stay to Alexandra in Central Otago.
2. Huge cherries given to Margaret some of which found there way to my mouth!
3. Rain forecast but we are not in a tent thank goodness.
Great cake .. incorporates all her interests I guess... Johns was on TV again last night .. The Coast doco was a great series... batten down the hatches if your weather is anything like was we had last night ... good rain though always appreciated this time of year..
@julzmaioro I"ve just watched it on demand and its the one filmed a few years ago so we have actually seen it, Julia. John had a beard at last years BMC!
What a great birthday cake. Looks like it shows all on someone's major interests. Someone is very creative. I'd almost hate to cut into this. And crouquet? I haven't played this in years. One of those pre-TV things we always used to do. Miss those days.
