On a walk around this area, came across a bunch of thistles and tried to focus on the escaping thistledown. Very like a dandelion seed.
Three good things:
1. Put insect repellant on for this walk and it worked. Plenty of sandflies around.
2. Prepared for the future severe rain forecast by moving the caravan off the grass and on to a gravel site.
3. Fun with two German children playing giant draughts on the lawn. They were still shrieking with high spirits at 9pm!
@kiwinanna Safe but not exactly dry, Liana. Some rain accumulated in the ceiling window spaces and when we opened the blinds it came dripping down. No windy though. Going to look at the river to see if it is up.. If I don't come back - tell someone?
You're right, off course! Fortunately we don't have any in the garden...yet, alhtough I'm sure that many well intentioned birds may yet bring some here!
