Practicing my new found camera exercise in focus. Opened a window and shot through this overgrowing fuchsia to a small flower stem in good light.
Three good things:
1. I heard a pure bird sound so close - it was a fantail (not seen for over a year) and it had flown in through that open window to the inside! My focus thingy didn’t work with this wee bird! We tried lots of photos but then opened the french doors and she flew straight out!
2. Can’t believe that people will put up with the crowds and walking to the venue for this Adele concert in Auckland! John had to ask the computer, who Adele was! Glad we are at home and relaxed!
3. Planning another caravan trip before the weather packs up!
Love the light & shade in this photo Maggie. A rich & sultry image! We are having trouble with starlings nesting in the roof space, they are wriggling around all night apparently & keeping the B&Bers in that room awake. The food man is coming in Saturday to clear it out, put the slates back where it's leaking & block the hole up!
Pretty shot with pretty lighting. When I was at the craft show, there were two birds inside the building. One would even "pose". However, I was unable to get a shot of either bird before they finally flew outside.
Those birds are very determined - we watched them get in the roof next door then they replaced the whole roof. The birds are still getting in - under the edge of the roof! Good luck!
