At this point we were committed to leave NZ on our USA journey! John managed to upgrade our seats to Business Class which was just wonderful. Didn't sleep much of course but at least we were so comfortable!
Three Good Things;
1. I didn't spill my nice scotch and water.... but the guy next to me did! An awful mess!
2. Plenty of food available here on the buffet but I knew there was a three course dinner served on the plane so had nothing here.
3. The concierge (in a turban) was so overcome with who John was that he organised a heap more benefits for us!
I'm delighted you got an upgrade to business class - it is so much more comfortable. A shame you didn't sleep much. I'm really looking forward to seeing your photos.
Spectacular photo of the beginning of your trip. Amazing art and I like the composition… But then I'm always about food I guess! (; congratulations on your upgrades and enjoy your trip . looking forward to you when you are in the states and perhaps I can at least call you.
@maggiemae Wow...that is quite a trip! I have only seen the airport in Chicago unfortunately. However Canada is wonderful, from West coast to East coast and so is Utah, each part is so different from desert to mountains. And, I love California since this is my home state! Looking forward to hearing and seeing your adventures, Maggiemae!
