Our hotel room in the town of Ely, Nevada on the way to the Salt.
We were given the "Ingrid Bergman' room and that suited me down to the ground! Pictures of her all round the walls including this one from Casablanca with Humphrey Bogart!
Three good things;
1. Family got off without incident - a long flight back to Japan.
2. Our four hour drive was through amazing country - stark, bare and mighty!
3. Had fun at the bar playing poker and getting $3 wines!
Strange decor I think, not my cup of tea but it looks comfy enough so that's the main thing! I like looking at hotel rooms for obvious reasons! You will be ready for a bit if quiet time just the two of you! Great that family are so keen to travel & accompany you on your great trip!
Not really my cup of tea ! But as long as the bed is comfortable that is what really matters Maggie ! Just hope you will be careful and not trip on all those dangling electric cables -- not very safety conscience there at they !
This would be a fun place to stay. All the rooms from different stars? Darn, every time we are through Ely were in our motorhome. No need for a hotel. Howevre, what is the name of this hotel...? Curious.
