Visit to the Zoo. Having never seen giraffes up close, this was a great treat! Three long necks and 12 legs! A veritable jigsaw design!
Three Good Things:
1. Utah has some weird rules - not allowed in one particular bar without our passport! Nobody seemed to know anything about this rule. Went to another!
2. We got well over our 3000 steps goal in each, in this Zoological Park.
3. Is it bad to just have an ice-cream for lunch?
We visited a safari park on Friday and I took some shots of giraffe including a close up on the patterned skin. Have you noticed how they're all so different xx
A terrific shot of these giraffes and I love your description of them very much. Good for you forgetting all your steps in and one of the main reasons I grew up with so I could eat ice cream whenever I want to. I think having it for lunch is a grand idea
As far as I know giraffe markings and zebra markings are as unique as fingerprints. We have had giraffes walk so close by the car in a game park that you could reach out and touch it.
The first time I saw a giraffe live was in the Zoo in Hamilton, I agree they are quite a sight! An ice cream fir lunch is perfect! USA has gone eclipse mad by the news stories over here!
@happypat It was on every TV and we went out and saw it through the proper glasses! Quite incredible and at the most dark part there was some light and shadow but the sunlight was cold!
@maggiemae so lucky to be actually there! I was amazed when we saw how beautiful it was, 2090 the next one here so I will be long gone! We had one when we first moved to this house but it was a bit of a let down, must not have been in exactly the right place!
Yes...Utah can have some very strange rules. I have a friend who moved from California to Utah and tells me about them. Nice capture of the giraffe family! :)

#3 I don't think it's bad to have ice-cream for lunch...assuming you don't do that every day ;-)
