Decided to do a selfie with my new camera having got a hold of some of the cleverness of this choice of camera.
It didn’t take much - I was planning on doing this all on my own but hubby entered the room and looked…. I don’t like being looked at and so appeared somewhat embarrassed.
However found my new iphoto app on the new update has its own edit function which helped.
This is me…..hmm….
Three good things:
1. My optometrist didn’t charge anything for another appointment to have a lower eyelash or three removed… I was almost driven wild!
2. Got a tentative itinerary out for a Geneva destination in the middle of January next year. Budapest - here we come?
3. So many good books to choose… how do I sit down to enjoy them! Slap my hand and say to myself, very severely, sit down!
What a nice surprise. Congratulations on your new camera. But more importantly, that's a lovely self portrait. Thanks so much for sharing it with all of us, so that we can picture you that much better when you leave us all your kind comments. You should make this your new profile picture. Who else agrees?
I think it looks very natural and casual. I could never do this- too camera shy! That is why I'm the one holding it all the time. Good shot- and yes, profile pic material!
A lovely self portrait Maggie , John has caught that twinkle in your eyes so well -- A very natural and casual shot . Congratulations on your new camera ,and to John for such a lovely photo ! fav
Oh, I really like this! What a wonderful selfie. New cameras are a lot of fun, it’s so amazing how many tricks they have up their sleeve, if you can just figure everything out. I agree with @mbrutus, this is a perfect profile pic! Fav!
Lovely shot of you and great on black. I like the new hairstyle. I just joined for another year although not sure why as posting quite abysmal! There's always hope
This is such a lovely photo of you Maggie, love love the new shorter hairstyle! You look far younger than me at the same age I think! It's time I did another selfie perhaps! New holiday destination sounds a complete change!
@happypat Thanks Pat - the good light was significant enough to blot out all the wrinkles. I used a portrait choice on my camera. And we will be in Manchester after Xmas for a few days before going off to Prague or somewhere like that!
