Tip me up.. by maggiemae

Tip me up..

I can’t claim any skill for this shot but it appealed to me with the photo I had taken of a really nice home just up the road.

Three Good Things:
1. I had a good walk up the road and back -3000 steps which was 2.2km according to my iPhone!
2. Put our car up for sale - don’t need a fancy one while we have a motorhome.
3. Entered a competition for a back garden makeover. Not telling them about the wonderful front part of the garden.
What a different look! nice looking house too!

A conversation piece, if ever I saw one! Very creative. Now you just need to find someone who can create a usable teapot that looks just like this.

@salza Yes,it does look like a good pourer!

@lesip Good thinking, Leslie! But we will get another car - smaller and maybe a hybrid.

Well done -- a fun edit !

This is clever! Especially like how the low hedges on the path seem to follow the curve of the teapot - did you use displacement mapping?

Redolent of 'Alice in Wonderland'.

Most attractive and clever creation. I've no idea how you did this, clever you. Fav

I think that would work rather well as a teapot design.

looks pretty skilful to me! great image

@pistache Thanks Clare - but the only skilful part but easy, is positioning the picture to go inside the frame!

@aglennc it was part of a iPhoto update on our computers High Sierra. So many choices- just had to experiment, Anita

That's great !

I would disagree with you. It would require a certain amount of skill to choose a subject that lends itself so nicely to the frame.

The house and garden seemed perfect for your experiment. fav.

fancy fabulous processing. you can have a teapot printed with this or one of your other beautiful landscapes like the boat and fisherman. would make for a very interesting conversation over afternoon tea.
November 17th, 2017
@summerfield I agree - an array of teapots on the shelf with different photos! Shall we have the 'boat'... or the 'clipped hedge', dear!
November 17th, 2017
Absolutely make it into the real thing! It really looks real here. How fun!
