The full moon was tomorrow but I didn’t want to miss this shot so late in the evening!
Seen from our window…
Three good things:
1. I went to the supermarket on Ruby, my electrically assisted bike and was barely able to take all the groceries. However the motor proved to be strong and as long as I was, we would get home!
2. Almost snoozed off in the hot afternoon on a comfy chair but my head fell sideways and kept waking me up!
3. Looking for good polenta recipes.
@maggiemae Interested to see this Maggiemae as they said on the TV today that there would be a winter moon here tonight, peaking around midnight, when it would appear larger than usual.
Lovely & I love the glow of the distant houses lit up....gives a focus in the centre. Your bike is amazing because I know you have to go uphill to get home! Saves the legs beautifully yet you get out in the fresh air! I think you deserved a nod!
I was watching the moon rise tonight (we are behind you) and I can see why they were calling it a Super Moon. It was huge! But it is dark by the time we see it now so no interesting scenery like this shot. It's a beauty!
@olivetreeann Its supposed to be full tonight (4th) but a whole hour later so I shall be standing waiting - probably firing shots into the clouds to disperse them!
