The Big Top is set up.
It s really quite magnificent and they have gone to a lot of trouble over the days to bring the circus to this small town!
Three good things;
1. I’m over circuses..
2. I solved a computer problem that John had had several Apple technologists working on for some time!
3. It almost rained!
A new shape for circus tents! Quite magical! I was never a circus lover myself to be honest, it was always cold the couple of times we went as a child & I hate clowns! I am well over circuses! You are too clever for circuses with your clever technical know how!
@happypat The events at circuses don't appeal to me now- I used to like the animals but they are no longer. Funny how clowns can be frightening but understandable!
a lovely shot of the big top. I am not a fan of circuses either. I think I was traumatized by the clowns when Mum took my sister and myself to the circus when we were kids. She always booked front row seats and I think I still need therapy, ha ha.

What a cool tent! It's been a LONG time since I went to the circus. I wonder how my grandkids would react to it. I was fascinated with the animals and performers. But I know a lot of children are afraid of the clowns. Good shot!
So cool to see this -- we spent several hours at the Ringling Museum in Sarasota and learned so much about circuses and how they operate. It was fascinating. Your image is of a up to date modern big top.
I remember the circus coming to our town when I was a child. I think we went once. They had a parade of the animals and things thru part of town
and young men made extra $$ helping them put the tent up. This is a very cool tent.
