It starts to get serious now - packing planning for Winter Europe - lots of merino/possum wear
Three Good Things:
1. While shopping for the merino, I dodged underneath the main street for this tunnel photo. Probably good on the Black as it has a natural black frame.
2. Ate too much chocolate after dinner but who cares!
3. I made a Kirk Roast - for those who know what this is!
Strange shape, I imagine it's the light & shadow under the bridge but it does look amazing on black. Kirk roast, I have no idea but imaging it's a sort of summer version of a roast beef dinner of some description. Exciting thinking about an aeroplane flight!
@happypat Kirk roast is like a large rissole. Mince, breadcrumbs, sausage meat and egg to combine plus any sort of herbs etc. I use cinnamon and allspice plus smoked paprika and tons of fresh parsley and coriander! Merge together in a fat roll and put in oven with a bit of oil and tin foil to cover for the first hour. Remove the foil to crisp up the top. Wonderful with gravy!
Am looking forward to R's version of Kirk Roast. Hope you enjoy your Europe trip. Looking forward to hearing about it in due course.
