Festivities in Belgrade

In the evening of this almost last day of the year, the people of Belgrade were enjoying the festivities on this paved and pedestrian walkway. Steaming hot drinks like mulled wine, balloons, candy and brandies were all sold from colourful carts.
Three good things:
1. I’m surprised how good my camera is in these lights.
2. We walked for nearly 4km around a very old Fort and cobbled streets.
3. A particularly noisy family booked in right next door to our room and congregated outside our own doorway. I opened the door and said, shush. Somehow they know we are English and said, ‘sorry!
