Decided we needed to do some washing so booked in for another night. It was good for me - I need to rest to recover. But just along the road is the Racing Track and there were Races on today which I cannot resist!
Three Good Things:
1. John parked alongside and listened to the radio commentary - but that was 7 secs behind. I wasn’t aware and not ready for them ! But got this one.
2. Washing was not free but worked well and the slight warm wind dried the clothing beautifully.
3. I go to bed at 8.30 overnight but get my 8 hours sleep after numerous waking times. I’m happy!
I thought for one moment you were over here and at the Cheltenham Gold Cup! Amazing how how in the saddle they ride. My Dad and me were speaking on the phone yesterday and thought it odd how they always name the jockey as having won the race. Actually, the horse did all the running!
Lovely colors and capture! I was asked when I was in my early twenties to go to the track to exercise the horses...I turned it down because I am not a morning person and I would have to be there by 5am...
