This place is paradise - really inexpensive, beachfront, pink sand, blue seas, even fish in the sea right up front. We watched these two fishermen catch fish!
Three good things:
1. Saw people at low tide gathering shellfish (that's really special)
2. Heard the waves all night - not exactly soporific but constant. No tsunamis!
3. So many good scenes to photograph!
@maggiemae pink sand sounds lovely. Apparently there is a pink sand beach on the Isle of Skye too. Someone told us about it when we were up there on holiday but we didn't have time to go look.
Fabulous shot, Maggiemae! Like the position of the reflection and the silhouettes to the side. The people (and fishing poles) are small, but the eye can't miss them!
