King of the birds

Away out on a peninsular in the Whangarei Harbour is Manganese Point, a caravan park for NZMCA members.
Didn’t have any bits of wood to level the van so we spent the time on an angle with plates and glasses sliding down the counter top. We just about slid out of our bed too!
Three Good Things:
1. Saw this Kingfisher and managed a shot which I could crop to see it better.
2. A Tui at the top of this tree sang his song putting all his heart into it!
3. Met up with daughter and husband in their big van with comfy leather seating!
