The town of Oamaru has been in the news often and its the Oamaru Stone that captures interest.
This is our Town Clock which was once on the top of the old Post Office but nowadays is the home of the Council.
Three Good Things:
1. Got a number of important things completed! No WOF, no Registration on our only vehicle. But They allowed us the WOF trusting we would replace two back tyres!
2. Got 5% off my grocery bill - a gold card benefit on every second Tuesday. I couldn’t find my Gold Card but they let me through.. Its Oamaru..!
3. The time is right on this clock!
Two bonuses for your home coming, they must be glad to have you home maggie! I imagine WOF is the same as our MOT but you would never be trusted to put the fail right yourself in the UK!
