The sky from downtown amongst the trees that line the middle of this wide road, took my eye!
The sun was just about coming through but my camera settings handled it.
Three good things:
1. Got book club to cater for tomorrow so bought eggs and celery for sandwiches which we all like.
2. Cut down a branch that was too low for where we wanted to store our motor caravan. It took a while - a big branch with just a pruning saw but patience and lots of rest, made it!
3. Our garden birds like the fat that I cut off from various foods so I feel its not going to waste! Just going to the birds’ waistline!
Celery in an egg sandwich? Now that sounds delicious.......must try it. Gorgeous sky. You are so lucky to have such big skies around you. I always go looking for that on holiday because I am cramped in by buildings.
@casablanca Its not as strong as onion, but provides that nice crispness with the soft egg filling!

Beautiful rays of sunshine. It sounds like a productive day in spite of the obstacles and a perfect solution of what to do with excess food fat! especially in the middle of winter
Beautiful photo, Maggiemae. Nice job getting a big branch down. Glad you are ok after that. Love the birds and squirrels here too. Been feeding them and they love making lots of noise and watch what we do. Our cat, Oscar loves watching all the activity and at his age cannot jump the fence in our yard so enjoys hours outside with the birds and squirrels. Life, right? FAV

@maggiemae You are very welcome, Maggiemae. It is great to hear back from you. We need things to get better and I will not say that they cannot get worse as things keep happening to us. I have been told a black cloud is over us and it is time for that black cloud to leave us. One day literally at a time. We are invited to a formal wedding of which we have had to buy clothing to wear. Been sale shopping for Dan and doing good online shopping. Wedding is July 21 and for now is the light in the midst of everything. Take care and thank you once again for being here and following me/us on this journey.
