Camellia by maggiemae

Camellia

The beauty and the fall in grace.
Camellia blooms like the rose in summer but sadly does not last. Turns brown and fall on the ground.
I’m happy to see one in the evening sun which tomorrow will not look as bright.

Three good things:
1. It was too nice in the winter sun here to enjoy and not to go and get exercise somewhere else.
2. I got my quota of steps dragging piles of John’s trimmings to the rubbish bags.
3. A new book and I’m hooked!

We have a camellia in our garden, but she does not want to bloom. We regularly give her food and water, but no results. Maybe we have to find an other place for her...

@inthecloud5 Not really Christine! Its the middle of winter and a few months till Spring has sprung. I was surprised by this particular bush coming out in flower! Doesn't seem to be affected by frost!
