Sunny place to rest by maggiemae

Sunny place to rest

This shot was taken from the cafe at a Private Hospital where I was awaiting the removal of a nasty skin thingy on the side of my throat. A lovely sunlit little garden to sit in for patients and visitors.
Three good things
1. My procedure took only 1/2 hour and I was very glad to be rid of this thing.
2. They wanted to prescribe me pain killers but I said no, - nothing would be as bad as my neuralgia so that’s good to have as a comparison.
3. Stitches out in 12 days. He’s a very good doctor who specialises in hardly any scar -but really at my age, I don’t care!
Lovely composition

@grammyn This was just outside of the cafe, Katy. Fairly noisy inside with people talking but lovely to go outside there!

@happypat I've yet to receive the bill, Pat! But this was better than waiting 2 months on the public system!

Glad you are well and happy the “thingy” is out of your life. I was surprised to hear you were having a procedure done when taking a trip?!?

@gardenfolk The trip was cut short as John forgot to take enough meds. So it was home then back down to Dunedin for this procedure!

Lovely garden to look out on ... rest up and take care..
January 29th, 2019
@maggiemae Yes you want it off you want it off! You would have had to wait a darn sight longer than two months here!
January 29th, 2019
@maggiemae Then, I guess it worked out OK then! 😃

@taffy Just about forgot it is there - or isn't there, Taffy, thank you!

Always good to get those darned thingys off MM. I've had a bunch removed from my face over time.
January 30th, 2019
@golftragic You just never know - what might have happened!
January 30th, 2019
@maggiemae Absolutely right, those thingys are best off, some can turn very nasty. One of my sisters had a funny little mark on her face a bit like a smear of lipstick which was, in fact, a melanoma. Fortunately, she'd gone to a specialist and had it removed properly. Close shave though.Scary.

Quite inviting. Hope you feel better soon.

Great composition and light.

@mbrutus Thank you Mr B! Its just a minor op so you might get a bit of slight pain at first then as the stitches hold it all together you don't have to worry about doing cartwheels! If I still could!

Beautiful little garden, always good to get rid of things that don't belong there ;-)
January 30th, 2019
Nice colourful garden. All the best for your healing. I've had some nasty things with ambitions removed from my skin. Better out than in, I say!

Looks like a lovely place, hope you recover quickly.
January 31st, 2019
@inthecloud5 thanks Christine - I'm all recovered - my incision just has to knit together and I'm not watching!
January 31st, 2019
A wonderful little spot for recuperation, but I hope it goes fast.
January 31st, 2019
@aikimomm From sitting here with a sandwich to lying down on a couch that looked vaguely like a dentist's couch while the procedure went on. No probs except the nurse kept asking me questions! All good and its already knitting!

Pretty shot of the pretty scene. I wish you a speedy recovery.
