There was a challenge here - to photograph in a darkish place and get good focus with a longer exposure and a tripod or get more light for that focus. I used the tripod. I did want to portray that wonderful colour!
Three Good Things:
1. There were 4 of these beautiful roses laying down on the earth with recent wind so I gave them a new life in a vase with cold water.
2. Our area was not as hot as others in NZ today. Very pleasant actually!
3. A new book.
How wonderful 365 is, I have just commented on an amazing photo from someone in Ontario Canada who is living in -20 & showing frozen sea etc & next minute your photo that just sums up warm perfumed beautiful summer & both taken at similar times at either hemisphere of our world. It certainly opens our eyes. A new book sounds good, I’m just trying to get started on a new one too.
Yes of course your son is over that way.....you will know first hand, hope they are keeping warm! I’m struggling with my book, haven’t had time to get a good go at it yet so everytime at night I pick it up so have to remind myself what’s gone before!
