Any apples?

Duck shooting season starts. Heard the pop pop, bang bang, of guns quite close and remembered there is a small pond just up the road on the other side of the bike trail! Biked up there but no hidden duck shooters. However did get two horses who were interested in what I was doing!
Three good things:
1. I managed this quick one as they lost interest and started to wander away. No apples in my camera bag!
2. The duck shooting eventuated in an armed offenders callout just up the road - one man was arrested eventually!
3. Tried roasting some chestnuts we had gathered on our last camping spot. One almighty explosion and we looked at the recipe again!

Such gorgeous colours! There was a duck shoot on the farm I was staying at last year in Yorkshire. Guns going off all around us and ducks falling out of the sky! It was horrible! The farmers wife said she was sorry she forgot to mention it was the annual duck shoot! It went on all afternoon all along the valley! I wasn’t happy!

Horses are a FAVorite for me! I have been so busy, distracted, travel and now a virus at the moment! Sorry I have missed so much but I do enjoy reading your 3 good things when I get the chance! Hugs. :)
