On the way home from another Hospital visit where Hubby’s injury was assessed to be going well but “not out of the woods, yet” I heard the doctor say.
It was freezing in Dunedin with a southerly blast and rain. Not good for walking back to the carpark to pay for more time… and back! Clothing got soaked.
This was an inlet near the coast with apricot coloured sunset clouds hanging over it.
Three good things:
1. My spirits go up and down but mostly up!
2. Home meant an early night in a warm and comfy bedroom.
3. Being tired is good.
A stunning colour in the sky and its reflection on the water - So pleased that John's wound is still healing and the hospital visits will lessen . No fun being wet , anxious and tired in the cold wet weather and so good to be home again ! Keep strong Maggie !
Short days & cold weather makes us beetle back home quickly to our warm comfortable home. Love your apricot sky & excellent news that John is doing well. Good job you can drive to take him to all these appointments! Being tired is very good....I wish I was more so tonight as I’m up in the night again. This time I have company as Alex’s fiancé is reading in the chair by the Aga...jet lag has got him!
What beautiful colours! So sorry to hear your husband's been going through such a rough time - very worrying for you too, of course. Glad he's making progress; let's hope it's not too long before it's all just a memory.
Hope you don't get a chill walking in the chilly weather and rain.
