My Fruit Squares

My attempt at making fruit squares as I used to know them was not altogether a success! The filling fell out of the squares and now I have a lot of very sweet and spicy sultanas.
Three Good Things;
1. These will be good for our song birds who love sweet things!
2. Diet day so I can’t even taste these tempting squares. Good that I was strong!
3. Another scam call and John pretended (or not) that he couldn’t hear and kept asking them to repeat - they soon hung up!

Oh M, these look magnificent. For better or worse, we've eschewed desserts at home and only indulge when invited elsewhere. Interestingly...neither of us miss them!

You can send some over...they do look delicious and I would even go and buy some ice cream. Hans and I are off the daily ice cream when our weight started climbing.
