Now how.... by maggiemae

Now how....

Down once again in Dunedin, I was filling in time wandering around a shopping centre. Looking through the window - this was in a gift shop and I just could not work it out! There is a stream of water coming down vertically and splashing into vessels below!

Thankful for : staying in the car while it rained a very chilly rain - down to 8degC
How cool is this!

I have seen something similar at the Water Park in Ngatea.. it is very clever .. I think a clear plastic pipe is involved..

I know how they do this- it's really quite clever! Hubby and I always wanted to put one in a garden but have never gotten around to doing it. Julia is correct- there is a clear pipe that is inserted into the spout. The water is cycled through tubing hidden inside the containers. The water is not coming out of the spout in reality but it looks like it is because the tubing is clear. Fun shot!

very clever, and does boggle the mind just looking at it

A complete mystery maggiemae....clever when you read the explanation though! Simple when you know how!
