Wee beauties

I don't know whether these are named, violets, violas, miniature pansies! This little group was happy to grow in a wild area dominated by nasturtiums!
Thankful for:
Grabbing on to the good things when one's mind might be so worried about the future. Having a bad night doesn't help and the daylight saving clock means, it's not time to go to bed yet!
Ooh they are so sweet - such cheerful little faces !

I'd call them violas. Pretty little things indeed. Always enjoy the purples and yellows side by side

I think we call them Violas. They are so sweet. Maggie we are all with you on our fears for the future. We will get through this, it’s just going to take a while.

We call these violets or violas but to me they look like tiny pansies. They are so delicate and pretty! Anything is a grateful diversion from worry and thinking about the future.

Very pretty. In Dutch: viooltjes, tiny violets.

@phil_howcroft I think that's where the DOF comes in - provides depth. Thanks Phil!

We call 'em Johnny Jump-Ups, but I think they're really violas.

@golftragic Funny - there are lots of wild flowers alongside roads - golden in colour and we called them "johnny-go-to-beds"! The flowers closed up at night
