Heading north

On our way home from the south and the hills were like this. A small patch of sun found its way through the low cloud cover.

Although it was snowing further up, the road was clear. Home safely!

@happypat most of the beds in the hotels were so comfortable but I found them quite hot. The room of course, was hot being heated.

@happysnaps It wasn't supposed to be an adventure, Valerie! Just a holiday - but it rained and was cold. The only adventure was being nervous about a northern motorway which might have been closed due to snow but it wasn't!
