Discombobulated.. by maggiemae

Discombobulated..

Or my idea of being discombobulated. The dictionary meaning is: "to cause to be in a state of confusion : upset, disoriented". I love this word and will be using other odd words in the future.
I've incorporated our first daffodil to be part of this shot!
Thankful for: Being able to look at new recipes - the latest was tomato salad with bocconcini - I bought some specially!
That is one of our family's favourite words - it's so expressive as to what it means. Cool image to go with it.

Isn't discombobulated a wonderful word.

you certainly do look that way. Somehow, no other word quite captures the same feeling.

Yes that word sounds exactly what it means! Your image is the perfect illustration...your legs look very wobbly indeed....the English language comes up with some corkers sometimes!
July 29th, 2020
Your image depicts the word :).

@santina Well, Santina - your Italian version sounds even more confused, maybe even too much wine!
July 29th, 2020
@happypat You've incoporated one of your own here - corker! Another super word!

@grammyn Funny, I've never heard of it but I do like the shambolic nature of the word!
July 30th, 2020
@maggiemae I think the word originated in the US which could be why I am more familiar with it than you are
July 30th, 2020
@grammyn You are right - early 19th Century (US)

bocconchini is a new word to me, but not discombobulated which is a word I also love. Great work with illustrating it.
