I had to get down on the ground to photograph this tiny rose. My back has decided its not a good day, particularly to bend. However, my iPhone took it from a good distance away and I was able to use an app to enhance its beauty!
Thankful for:
My massage machine - it helped but didn't solve my really severe back pain today!
Such a beauty Maggie , beautifully captured and edit ! Sorry to her your back is not behaving -- I can empathise with you . I hope the massage machine and rest will help your back issues - take care ! fav
This is gorgeous. I’m sorry to hear about the troubles you had getting the shot but you have managed to make a spectacular photo especially with all the little drops on the petals.
Good to know that your massage machine helped. Sorry it didn’t solve the problem and sorry you had the problem in the first place
I hear you on the back pain! It went from sunny and nice to damp and rainy and my body is NOT happy about it! I think I need one of those recliners that massages your back and neck... pretty flower and processing.
I understand back pain. At the age of 19 I fell badly whilst trampolining and thereafter spent much time with kiné, manipulation under anaesthesia...all to no avail. The ultimate treatment was 3 weeks in hospital in traction. The foot of the bed was raised about 6 inches, maybe more. I wore a harness, with weights attached to enable my spine to extend and return to its normal state.
At first 3 weeks lying uphill was very peculiar...yet it's remarkable how quickly the body adjusts. On the last day, the bottom bed legs were lowered to floor level. I was convinced l was going to slide off the bed...l'd become accustomed to lying at an angle. Somewhat scary. The following day l was 'fitted' with a plaster cast which entailed me sitting bolt upright, naked, arching my back as much as possible, whilst the 2 local doctors whom l'd known all my life plunged sheets of plaster in warm water to make them pliable. They each put a 'back' or 'front' on me, then wound plaster bandages, wet of course, to secure them.
By this time I was exhausted, and despite their good humour, was more than ready for my bed. However l had to sit for about an hour whilst the plaster dried...and was 'liberated' the following day.
I had about 3 weeks off to recuperate, most of which was spent fishing in a small inshore open boat with an old friend. Fond memories.
@s4sayer Crikey - never knew you could put your back in plaster - what a frightening experience! My back goes 'out' quite often and generally takes 3 weeks to heal. I had one kneecap that went out while trampolining and its still a bit fragile - no huge jumps on our tramp! The was 50 years ago!
Good to know that your massage machine helped. Sorry it didn’t solve the problem and sorry you had the problem in the first place
Oh...... and Happy Birthday!!!!

Yes, it is better than my simple white rose - as yours received TP and PP status.
Well done
Yep...my 'tramping' days are but a fond memory...
50 years ago for me too!
