of my meagre offering in the wonderful photo lineups of 365! It just another challenge to get a good photo. The first photos were not focused on the bottom of the nest and this tiny nest only 2 inches wide had a beautiful weave of horse hairs in the middle and the moss (from our lawn) around the outside.
Thankful for:
Not having to unpack until you feel like it!
So beautiful ,isn't nature wonderful - this lovely little nest is so intricately woven to hold and shield the new life . Love the detail of the woven fine strands of twigs and vegetation in the formation of this nest - Love how the little bird has included moss and downy feathers to make it si cosy looking ! fav
Oh what a beautiful little nest. Makes you appreciate just how much work goes into making it and the poor birds have to collect and weave every little bit.
i am always in awe when i see nests like this. here in toronto, the ones i've seen lately were made with some plastic. so resourceful of the creatures using whatever they can find in the big city. i like that little feather hanging around. aces!
