Irish Hotel in NZ

A photo like this appealed to me and other things on the web site. Unfortunately, in reality, the pond is disintegrating, the huge gardens are being overcome with monstrous weeds and our unit had problems. With a little persuasion we were shifted to a better unit and on going down to the main building (as in the photo) we found a roaring fire (real) and a huge video screen playing Daniel O"Donnell. One of my favourites.

@maggiemae Yes it does tend to be like that.....not so much in NZ though I saw...more couples & younger!! I was at a concert in Auckland last time & he looked at the audience & said ‘is Pat here?’
We had talked about him coming to NZ at our dinner dance 🤣🤣😘😘😘 I just put my hand up!!
