New Flower by maggiemae

New Flower

Popped up in the last week in one corner of our garden. We cleared out (or the gardener did) the overgrown area of this garden and I guess this flower liked more light. I have identified it as "nerine bowdinii"
thankful for:

the vacuum got itself out of the cupboard and cleaned up the lounge. There was a man behind the controls! My Main Man!
Narines are lovely I have red ones.. (finished now) the leaves come up when the flower dies back.

Beautiful close up. I wish my vacuum would find is way out of the cupboard with a man attached to it.

@onewing You will have to train this man, Babs - by not vacuuming until he trips over all the dirt!

A lovely image. We bought a cordless vacuum cleaner and my once reluctant main man has used this more in a year than the previous one in 44 years...

How fortunate to find the flower to start with and get such an excellent photo of it! How even more fortunate to have a man who will run the vacuum!
