Mt Somers by maggiemae

Mt Somers

A bit further down the road is Staveley - to the NZ'ers its where the Top Twins played a big part for the area by buying a large property. Mt Somers is 1866 metres and right in front of us at our next cottage. This proved to be much different from the luxury of the previous stay but delightful with a small stream trickling a metre away from the front door and these huge mountains to the west!
This could be great on the Black?

Thankful for:
A most delicious cheese roll for morning tea!
That's a most beautiful mountain! One day! Lovely image too.

I shall have to check out where you are as I can’t place Mount Somers.
The mountain looks very close…you could climb this before breakfast perhaps? 😳

@happypat The only thing we are capable of climbing, Pat is - out of bed!

@olivetreeann Not exactly from the front door - there is a big hedge in front but we can see the top of this mountain from the door!
