We had to be in Dunedin for an eye appointment and John could drive for 4 hours after so we booked into this hotel. It has beautiful gardens with enormous trees and dozens of rhododendrons and roses. The building to the left was once an Oasthouse built in the 1880s, a solid stone structure, now used for conferences.
Thankful for:
a whole afternoon of rest and relaxation here.
@allie912 I just loved it, Allison! When we were there in the afternoon, the sun was shining and it was quite hot. Today its raining and cold so good to have had that time in the sun!
@ludwigsdiana Thanks, Diana. I find it sad though we were probably one of two people staying in this large hotel. I expect they have minimum staff on so they keep costs down.
