I was in Hawaii for Christmas this year, and I heard from a couple sources there that flowers/plants this year have been blooming at the wrong times. They don't know if this is due to the aftermath of the tsunami in Japan or not, but the timing is about right.... I would be curious to know what's going on!
So your flowers are out of synchronisation with the seasons too? Lovely colours and the lighting.adds to the great capture. We have summer Hibiscus is full bloom threatening to invade the neighbours.
This is a big fat bud & those lovely layers of red are unusual. Is it an autumn flowering one or perhaps your seasons are all muddled up like ours have been !
