Beach Restaurant II

This is the restaurant on Shelly Beach in the Howick area of Auckland where we had a nice lunch. It looks out over the Auckland harbour towards the outer islands.

I love these old traditional houses in NZ......not as keen on these brand new brick ones that seem more & more popular although it's easy for me to say that, I'm not living in them! These have so much charm......lovely place to eat.

@maggiemae In camera? Hmmm....I am going to have to look into that. My new camera apparently does in camera HDR, but I have yet to figure it out. I was hoping to get some HDR shots for the technique challenge, but it did not happen...:-(

@panthora Not in camera but part of camera - it takes 3 shots in different lights then I use the app, Photomatix Essentials

@happypat They are cold inside, these type of houses, Pat - great ambience but impractical! Them' brick ones are easier to live in!
