This inside the lounge compared to the photo I posted before on the outside but interior doors to this lounge. John is reading the newspaper and I am bringing down a couple of whiskies secreted in my camera bag!
@beryl There were a few drops in the camera bag, Beryl - I just laid the camera back in front of the heater to dry it out! Now my camera smells of whisky!
Opulent. Love the concept of using the camera bag for the whisky. Reminds me of sneaking alcohol on youth group trips years and years ago. (Did I really admit to that??)
Can't count how many times I have smuggled drink out of our room when staying in a hotel....they charge such inflated prices. I must remember the camera bag trick!

@kiwinanna Who didn't Liana! It would have been fun for you then and it is when I do this sort of thing too! Something about doing it when you are not allowed - but we are seniors now! haha
@happypat I remember on board ships going back to the cabin and refilling our glasses then going up in the lifts trying to hide the glasses behind my back! As you say - bought drinks were so expensive.

Not a sight you'd find in one of today's modern hotels. I much prefer the old! Would love to curl up in one of those comfy chairs with a good book and a whisky. I've done the smuggling thing so many times - refuse to pay hotel prices unless absolutely necessary!
