Seen from the train window

I have turned the GPS on in my camera for some of these shots and its so good when travelling to pinpoint the location. But it does use a lot of battery.

This shot is at Seacliff in East Otago, NZ and there are some wild and windy places here!
I like this shot.. like the track that takes you over the hill..

Love the colour of the house and then the way the path leads ones eyes in the distance

Not sure why but I seem to have missed your last few shots........time goes too quickly! Love that long path & how it winds up the hill so clearly. Love looking out of train windows....hope you were facing the right way!

@happypat No we were facing backwards, Pat but I got up all the time and took pictures through opposite windows or on my side!
September 14th, 2015
@maggiemae Why is is we always semi to face backwards! I started off going forwards on our trip to York, next thing we pulled into Bradford & then I was going backwards again!

@happypat On this railcar they could change the chairs into the forward position but not the ones sitting around a table as we were!

I don't know- I just think that house looks like a great place to live! I love the driveway but wouldn't want to shovel it if it snowed there a lot. Probably not since you're below the equator!

@olivetreeann It looks a nice place to live but this position where it is, above cliffs and on the eastern side gets a lot of cold winds!

What a perfectly manicured place!!
