I snapped this shot on my morning run down by the river valley in Saskatoon. This is the railway bridge that runs across the Saskatchewan river, which winds its way through the centre of the city.
It's been raining steadily here for the past couple of days, and so the sunshine and blue skies were a bit of a novelty, and certainly made the run much more palatable! The clouds were generally amazing (and I tried to snap a number of pics of them), but when I saw this jet trail in the sky over the bridge, I wanted to capture how it set off the lines of the bridge, and draws your eye towards the horizon.
@andrewrome365 Thanks! I will definitely keep up with the commentary - I am approaching the project as a photo "journal", and the context for each picture is an important part of that. But I'm glad that other people appreciate it too!
Welcome to 365! Nice capture on your photo. I am amazed at how well the shots turn out from iPhones and smartphones. My daughter has an iPhone and takes neat shots with it and a co-worker has a droid that takes photos that are amazing.
Please keep giving an explanation of your photos - it enhances them>
