FIrst of all, thank you all so much for your comments, favs and follows from my "Excited Teddy!!" photo.
I've seen so many crystal sphere photos here on 365, I wanted to try it! I looked and looked for one that wasn't too big and heavy, even online. Yesterday, when I was in a specialty game store buying a gift for my father, I happened to notice some *extremely* large (almost clear) marbles in various colors! It was exactly the size I was looking for. This particular one only has a couple of bubbles and was inexpensive, so I thought I would give it a go. It's not what I was looking for, but it works. For now.
This is my *very* first glass sphere shot. I took three and liked this one best!
I was feeling better from this absolutely miserable cold, but after two days of feeling good, a monster sinus infection set in and I feel just horrible again. I started antibiotics tonight (I do NOT like taking them!), but hopefully I'll feel more normal again, tomorrow!
@vorka -- It really is! I'm so glad I didn't just purchase on a whim....now I know what I want and will purchase it, when I see it for a decent price. I'm shopping for a macro lens tomorrow and having my Canon Rebel XT cleaned up. I haven't even done many of the challenges I had planned on doing this week. Beautiful shot, Laura. I'm still trying to figure out how these things work and your photo gave me the best clue. It's upside down and backwards, right? I'm glad you are feeling better.

Literally, as soon as I was feeling pretty normal (it's all relative, haha!) I got a major issue with my computer....haven't been able to use it for a week! All I do now is via my phone...and I can't load photo's! :(
Intrigued by your sphere. Have been looking for one... now the quest will be for marbles. Good one... upside down and backwards... just like our weather!
