Yes, because with old buildings you always wanna know the story that lays within it. I find myself asking that question a lot when I'm taking photos of old things! I love this though, its beautiful. Great job capturing it!!
What a fabulous find! I'd stop too for something this great . . your photo is wonderful. Great pov and color tones. Too bad about the history . . there must be a story here.
OMG. I am an old barn fanatic and this is one of the best I have ever seen!! Great colors and the design on it is amazing! Great capture, thanks for sharing!!

Thank you both so much for the comment on composition. It just seemed to want to be in the upper right with the field in the foreground.

I still might do a little poking around and see if I can find out some information. I do know it is for sale and has a $575K price tag with the land.

I thought the same thing but it sits next to a major road so the noise level would not be singing birds but traveling cars and trucks.

It's such a beauty and seems so sad it has not been maintained or that there isn't a house on this property too. Yet, so often the barn is always nicer than the house because it's the barn that puts food on the table.
I love these old barns too - I usually don't have the opportunity to do a quick U-Turn and get the shot.

I'm hoping to catch a few more of these before I leave the area. Thank you.
We used to live in a farming community and would see these on a regular basis ... now it's such a treat to come across one.
Thank you so much for your comment and appreciation of these treasures.
It was fun to finally get the chance to take this photo. Thank you.
Thank you SO much for your kind comment.

They DO make for fun shots. Someday I'd like to take the leap and have one of these shots produced on canvas.

Thank you for the nice compliment of selecting my Lone Barn photo! Blessings!
